The first single off his seventh studio album, the first since 2010's Recovery, is the Rick Rubin-produced, Beastie Boys-inspired Berzerk. In the following years, he released the US number one albums The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (2013), Revival (2017), Kamikaze (2018) and Music to Be Murdered By (2020). Oh, and on November 5, Slim Shady will release the sequel to his classic, sophomore major label album. Recovery was the best-selling album worldwide of 2010, making it Eminem's second album, after The Eminem Show in 2002, to be the best-selling album of the year worldwide. Berzerk shows there’s plenty of life left in Eminem yet.In 2000, Eminem released The Marshall Mathers LP, an album that has since reached diamond certification by the RIAA (for selling 10 million copies) and is regarded by hip hop heads and purists as one of the greatest rap albums of all-time. He may not perform commercially as strong as his heyday but don’t count him out just yet. Based on this track The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is going to be a must-listen when it’s released in November. As always Eminem has put his own spin of the sound and he’s grabbing headlines all over again. The rock-tinged instrumentation is a little different from Eminem’s usual hip-hop beats but it’s a welcome change.
